Depending on your company, your Tapcheck balance may be calculated based on either the actual hours you've worked or estimated earnings from available payroll data after deductions. Your balance is based on a percentage of your net pay and may include a daily transfer limit.
Deductions can include:
- Pre-tax deductions
- Post-tax deductions
- Garnishments
- Federal income tax
- State income tax
- Medicare/Social Security
- Medical, dental, vision
Balances are only calculated when sufficient data is available. If your balance appears low, missing, or shows as $0, it may be due to timing, delays, covering deductions or information missing needed for the balance calculation.
Please note, you are unable to make a transfer unless we are able to generate a balance of $20 or more after deductions.
